Et enestående band kaster inn håndklet etter et tiår. De to siste utgivelsene “Mercy” og “Up in Them Guts” er to perler av intrikat, skitten, og emosjonell hardcore med fascinerende låtoppbygging. På toppen av kransekaka har de lagt noen soul-inspirerte melodinjer, som gjør at de kan minne om den degenererte tvillingbroren til Afghan Whigs. Men nå er det altså over. Først skal det turneres, så er det slutt. Med litt flaks kommer de kanskje til Norge. Det er lov å håpe og be alt det remmer og tøy kan holde.

There are many reasons why we’ve decided to move on. Financial strain, family obligations, etc. But truly, we just felt it was time. Our love for each other and our music has not diminished. It will always be there. I have no doubt that we could continue to write balls to the wall music. Maybe someday, but for now, it’s just time for change.
Chuck and Neil will continue to blow minds with their band, “Git Some”. Gared will be writing/performing as “Hawks and Doves”. (in collaboration with Matt Bellinger formally of Planes’s) He also is putting together another band with some familier faces called HEXES. I will be moving to Chicago to be closer to family, hopefully starting a band there with some old friends, and probably going back to school to pursue my science career.
We’d like to thank everyone who has supported us through the years. The bands that we’ve toured with will always hold a special place in our hearts. To our committed friends and family who’ve helped establish us, words cannot express our appreciation. And to the many steadfast fans and friends whom we’ve met on the road, thank you for your love and devotion. One of the hardest things is realizing that we may not get to see you as often as in the past. So make sure you come to see us in these final months!!
It’s been one hell of a ride! The past 10 years have flown by and we’ve had experiences we could never have dreamed of. Thank you all for being a part of it. And so, Farewell!! We’ll see you all soon in a city near you!!
